This family-friendly activity is brought to you by Penelope, Beckett, and Grayson. Our friends took a walk the other day and collected items from nature along the way. When they returned home they made a beautiful nature collage that spelled out each person’s name!
Supplies:
Cardboard or posterboard
Pencil
Glue
Items from nature
What to do:
Begin by cutting your cardboard or posterboard to the desired size. Use the pencil to write your name in large letters. You will need to plan carefully for long names, but that is why you are using a pencil. Don’t worry if you make a mistake - this is a learning experience!
Use the glue to go over each letter carefully. If you have a long name or would like to work slowly, you may only want to do one letter at a time. Place your items from nature on the glue and give them time to dry. As you can see above, there are many creative uses for the things you may find in your backyard. I love that Penelope placed flowers inside her “o” instead of just around the outline.
Enjoy!
